September 20th-25th, 2024 (6 days, 5 nights) - BOOK YOUR SPOT.

You’ve Heard The Call

Get ready to set your eyes on the spectacular and sparkling Mediterranean horizon for this scenic trip to the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy the Mediterranean breeze, say 'Buongiorno' to local farmers along our hike, join a private boat tour around Capril island, wander around the colorful streets of Positano, and experience Italian mouth-watering cuisine during meals - all this while having fun with me and the DTN® crew! There's no doubt about it: the Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful parts of Italy if not the world and you NEED to experience it.

This trip is specifically tailored for people living with diabetes. This means we’ve taken care of securing a place for our insulin to be kept cold in hotels, meals are all suitable for diabetes, and timing is set to make it as easy as possible for you to manage your blood sugar. But that’s not all, when joining the trip, you also get granted access to a group trip preparation training where I will show you exactly how to get everything ready for your trip. Giving you the peace of mind and freedom to enjoy Italy to the fullest.

It’s essential to note that navigating this picturesque terrain involves traversing hilly paths, stairs, and a fair amount of walking. To fully enjoy the enchanting views and cultural treasures, participants should possess a moderate level of fitness and be comfortable with walking up and down slopes. Participants are responsible for assessing their own fitness level and understanding the potential challenges associated with the journey.

If you’ve landed in this space, it’s because you too, have been called for more adventures.

I don’t believe in coincidence. You are here for a reason. I feel that a lot of us, were raised in a society that believed that it made more sense for us to play it small, that find it normal for us to take care of everyone else but ourselves. Too often have we placed other people's needs in front of our own in terms of “being nice”. And so on top of taking care of our diabetes on the daily. As a result, we were left feeling so disconnected from our own center that we very nearly didn’t realize we were living life on autopilot. Things didn’t feel as though they were right, something constantly felt like it was missing, and some of us even sometimes - shamefully - regretted our “old life” or worse, forgot about it. How long has it been since you last did something for yourself? When you stopped worrying and truly enjoyed living life in the moment?

Now is YOUR time. You deserve it.

We've dove deep into our fears and our own limitations – and discovered pieces of ourselves we never knew existed. We’ve met soul sisters from around the world and made life-long friendships and meaningful connections. We’ve given ourselves permission to truly enjoy life and have fun like never before and within it all we discovered our true power.

This trip is designed so you have the most memorable experience, meet like-minded people who truly understand you, and reclaim your true power as we gather for fun and memorable activities, under the golden Italian sun.

There are 8 spots available on this trip and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. Must be at least 18 years of age.

“Thank you so much Julie! It helped me and still helps me to realize that diabetes shouldn't stop you from discovering the world and doing what everyone else does. It also raises awareness about this disease of which so many aspects are still not widely known. This group meant and still means a great deal to me in the first months of my life with type 1 diabetes, I realized that there are a lot of people around the world facing the same struggle as me. Thank you so much!”

Alice.

I F Y O U’ V E G O T T E N T H I S F A R

Let me share one last thing, Right before I took my first plane to Australia, security stopped me at the airport and confiscated all my ice packs; leaving my insulin at room temperature.

I was devastated and felt STUCK. I ran around the airport looking for a solution without success. I was in PANICK. I remember thinking to myself “what were you thinking? Going 6 months to Australia with diabetes is such a stupid idea.”

At that moment, I had a choice.

Take the risk and embark on a 24-hour trip that could be one of the most amazing experiences of my life or go home and be miserable.

I used the chocolate ice cream from the meals served on the plane, which I placed in my cooler. 24 hours later, happy to have arrived in my new home, I started the travel adventure I for long dreamed of.

Noosa, Australia

London, United Kingdom

Bali, Indonesia

Maspalomas Dunes, Canary Island

It wasn’t long after my return to France that I moved to the UK (still based there as of 2022) and started working and living there. I am saying based because I am literally traveling all around the world from there 🙈.

Moving from French healthcare to the UK one wasn’t an easy task (I spent so many hours stressed figuring things out and wondering if I could even make it work.) but I am glad I kept going as I now have experience being an ex-pat and I know how to get my supplies prescribed in any country I am going to live in.

Later on, I spent a month deepening my Yoga practice in Bali. Diabetes knowledge there is pretty low and there is only one hospital that has a diabetes department.

I took all my supplies with me and had an amazing month meditating, discovering the island, eating healthy bowls, sunbathing, and hiking to sacred Balinese temples.

Not so different than the time last year when I packed my bag and headed to the Canary Island for a month and a half of “Working From Home” sun and bliss.

I am here to show you that diabetes can be a tiny detail in your life. That you don’t have to live your life as a victim of your diagnosis.

Life is unpredictable even without diabetes, and I’m here to show you how to build the confidence & the know-how to take your power back.

I AM TELLING YOU THIS STORY FOR ONE REASON.

If you’re ready for the trip of a lifetime, then let’s lock this in! Simply click the button below to sign up. When you do, you’ll receive a travel agreement to review and sign.
